Terms and Conditions
To secure a booking, a deposit of 25% is required. The remaining invoice balance is required 14 days prior to your event. Details on how to pay your deposit will be provided in the Styling Agreement.
Styling materials purchased, or the use of other vendors for your event will be invoiced separately. Such materials may include paper, fabric, printing, flowers and/or other materials as agreed by you in the Styling Agreement. You are responsible for the payment of any and all fees from other vendors who are involved in your event.
Cancellation or refund
Please note that booking deposits are non-refundable. If a cancellation is notified less than 30 days prior to the event date, a further 25% of the booking fee will be payable to August&Lucy. If a cancellation is notified less than 14 days prior to the event date, a further 50% of the booking fee will be payable to August&Lucy.
August&Lucy, in relation to the caravan bar, do not provide refunds in the case of bad weather. In the event of rain it is the responsibility of the host to make alternative arrangements. August&Lucy should be notified of these alternative arrangements as soon as possible. In the case of an emergency or extenuating circumstances, and at the discretion of August&Lucy, the event date and details may be able to be modified.
If the use of the coffee machine or lights are required for your booking and their is no access to power, the cost of hiring a generator, including fuel will be added to your invoice and discussed with you during the booking process.
Damage to August&Lucy property
All damages and breakages of hire items or caravan must be paid for by you. A hire agreement must be signed and returned 14 days prior to event. Replacement costs vary per item. Glassware will be charged at $4 each to replace.
Location and Permission
For events held in venues other that private residence or a hired function venue, it is the responsibility of the client to obtain permission and provide confirmation to August&Lucy at least 30 days prior to the event.
